Fiesta San Antonio...

Hello everybody, how are you all doing? Me I’m fine, I have less than 50 days left. I’m so excited to go home.

So, the weekend from April 26 to April 28 was Fiesta Texas.  It was a trip organized by AFS San Antonio.  We left Houston on Thursday around 2h30 and arrived in San Antonio around 6. After, we meet new exchange student who were from San Antonio and Austin. Later, we meet our weekend host family, there were very nice. On Friday, we went to six flags, an attraction park. It was very fun. We did almost all the big attractions. It was also very hot and a lot of people get sun burn. Friday night we went to a party from 6 to 11. We ate Mexican food for dinner and after dance for the rest of the night. It was a lot of fun. Saturday, I went with some other exchange student shopping. We went to a big area with a lot of shops.  I saw in the Lacoste shop a very nice polo with the American flag on it. It was 165$. I will try to get it before I leave. Sunday evening, we went to the parade, it was a long parade, it ends around 10h30. Sunday, we came back to Houston around 6. It was a great weekend, I meet a lot of new people and had a lot of fun. The following Wednesday, my host family and I went to an Astros game (baseball). The Astros won 3 to 6. On Friday, it was the sport luncheon, basically it’s kind of an award. It was for all the people that played sport at Saint Stephens during these school years. I played tennis so I received a diploma. I also received a big tennis with on it all the signature of my teammates.  It was very nice. Saturday, we had the Pre-departure orientation meeting with AFS.  We basically talked about how our experience was and what are the things that we would like to do before we leave.  We also talked about how hard it’s going to be to go back to our own country. It was a very interesting meeting.

For information, I will be done with school in two weeks, and after I will have one week of final exams.
